Visiting China- What’s on the program? Part II
The larger part of April, Rohde will conduct several kinds of research in Shanghai and China.
Eindhoven is the most important manufacturing region of the Netherlands. Also Fontys university has its head centers there. Eindhoven’s manufacturing industry did some important discoveries and these form the basis of my interviews in China. Leading research question: In what Chinese regions do we find a solid combination of 21th Century manufacturing industries & education and the creative industries. Rohde is conducting this pilot because European manufacturing industry discovered that Chinese engineers (working in Europe) are the most ambitious ones but that they lack in creativity and openness. Interested? Please contact Rohde immediately: firstname.lastname@example.org
My university and the whole manufacturing region of Eindhoven want to assess whether what kinds of collaboration could be possible. With regard to the future of technology, with four important fields which are 2A Robotica, 2B. Internet of Things, 2C. The Power of the Cloud and 2D. 3D-printing in manufacturing.
Presentations and Coolhunts at Donghua University and Shanghai Institute of Technology are booked, but if you are from another university and interested in Rohde’s research please click here for the brochure on how to participate in the International Cool City Hunt research project.
