What iTunes, SoundCloud, Spotify and other music apps did is revolutionary. ‘Radioooo’ is the next step. This web radio offers users a new and surprising musical experience: pick a country on a handcrafted map, choose a decade between 1900 to the present and let yourself get carried away by musical treasures on the planet, selected with love, by humans for humans. ‘Radioooo’ is a collaborative website. Its member’s objective is to create a more open-minded and richer world. A better world, using the unifying power of music.

WHY IT’S COOL?

The treasures that constitute this ever-growing library sprout from the collective memory and heritage of humanity, in its most universal and timeless form: music. It lets you travel through time, all around the world while discovering new hidden tracks. The shuffle mode enables you to take part in a trip in time and space. Let yourself be surprised and transported through 70s rock in China, 90s electro in Uganda, or the latest releases from Indonesia. ‘Radioooo’ can lead to a lot of nostalgia, listening to old songs you used to hear with your parents in the car on road trips. It also spikes interest in history and culture for curious Millennials and Gen Z people, seeing how music evolved over decades and relating that to historical events.

WHY IT HAS FUTURE GROWTH POTENTIAL?

‘Radioooo’ is encouraging us to create a world in which we understand and appreciate each other better through musical culture. It can easily be implemented in the hospitality industry: welcomes a client with tunes from their own country, or let them discover what the visited country has to offer. Of course, it might seduce other generations, not only Millennials, as Prof Carl Rohde was already wowed by it.

For further information about Radioooo please click here!

WHAT IT IS?
