NERI Hotel – a XII century palace turned in a hotel

As you enter the Gothic quarter of Barcelona, you suddenly come across a very interesting facade. We enter the site and the first thing that catches our attention is the pleasant fragrance accompanied by a soft melody, both in a perfect cojuction. The interior is a very well decorated space with modern touches preserving the essence of an old place and the lighting is dim, the calm can be felt in the environment.

We go to the Hotel bar while the receptionist makes some inquiries regarding our visit to the Hotel since we have introduced ourselves as editors of a reputed online blog. The waiter is interested in our work and very kindly recommends several peculiar hotels in the city, then he invites us to coffee. 2. During the remodeling of the palace, under the building Roman remains were found and Phoenician potteries that a team of archeologist documented.

All the items found where donated by the property to National Heritage.
