One of the Japanese definitions of “henn” means “to change,” which represents the hotel’s commitment “for evolution in striving for the extraordinary sensation and comfort that lies beyond the ordinary.”

You will find a robotic arm working as a Bellboy or porter, an electronic assistant that will guide you while you’re staying and much more. Of course there is a 24/7 h human team behind this hotel to make sure every experience is successful or in case there is any electronic problem.

    Wow, what an exciting idea! The concept of checking in with a humanoid robot concierge, especially one designed as a dinosaur, adds such a unique and playful twist to the traditional hotel experience. It truly feels like stepping into a futuristic world!

    That said, I might lean a bit more towards the traditional side of hospitality. I believe that the real magic happens when human staff members connect with guests. It’s those personal touches—timely care, delightful surprises, and those memorable “wow moments”—that really make an impact. Ultimately, the goal is for guests to walk away with fond memories of their interactions and the exceptional service they received.

    Hi Alberto. Yeah, Henna Hotel strikes a chord worldwide. It is a very well-known hotel (chain). That’s also a bit the problem: pretty well-known. I gather Henna hotels are now about a decade old – splashing over the Internet since then. Having said that, you still have a point: (part of) the future is robotic. Please, use more rubrics : Japan, Henn-na, robots etc. Thanks. Carl

    Hi Alberto really nice blog and well organized even if someone prefers the traditional way of human services. Smart and Short, i really enjoyed that you referred on hotel’s sustainability ethics lets say and your reference on its low price.
