WHAT IT IS?
Gardening work shops in the Peninsula Hong Kong roof top,. It’s an extra charge experience in the hotel but the touch point here is the location that you can gardening in the actual garden of the hotel . This hands-on experience not only provides a memorable activity but also fosters a deeper connection to the hotel and its surroundings
WHY IT´S COOL?
- Guests are symbolically leaving a part of themselves behind and fostering a sense of growth and connection.
- The practice is fun and emotional which create memorable experience.
- increase sustainability practices and awareness
WHY IT HAS FUTURE GROWTH POTENTIAL?
This practice has potential for future growth because it is unique, memorable, and aligns with growing trends in sustainable tourism and experiential travel. As more people seek meaningful and personalized travel experiences, this practice could become increasingly popular. Additionally, it can be easily adapted to different destinations and cultural contexts, making it a versatile and scalable idea. My own innovative idea on this concept will be to offer an envelope of seeds upon arrival for guests to make this experience for everyone not only for the work shop and make it a touch point for the whole hotel .

What a beautiful idea! 💕 I love the thought of guests throwing seeds in the hotel garden upon arrival. It’s such a romantic and eco-friendly way to leave a part of yourself behind while fostering a connection to the place. This practice not only creates a memorable experience but also promotes sustainability and awareness. It’s a meaningful way to celebrate growth and new beginnings, and I can see it becoming a cherished tradition for travelers who value unique and sustainable experiences.
