WHAT IT IS?
It is a fact that we all are suffering from the Loneliness epidemic. This term describes pretty well how lonely we as individuals may feel at times despite being surrounded by equals.
Staying at the Harmon Guest House located in the town of Healsdburg (California) seems to be the definite pill one should take to get rid of such an epidemic. Collaborative art, foreign guests and locals turn this accommodation into a to be lived accompanied place.

Not only that. Since it first opened its doors, it has supported different local, regional and non-profit organisations.
WHY IT´S COOL?
- Participative Events. Not only artists but attendees may become a part of the art that is being created during the different events that are held through the year in-house. Also, some art installations convert every corner into an instagrammable spot.
- Facilities For People Not Individuals. The common areas of this hotel have been specifically designed to gather people and foster communication and talks in groups.
- “Modern Organic”. Its architect chose reclaimed materials such as redwood for its construction. Also it has a very reflective roof that prevents the building from overheating whilst its solar panels installation is used to heat water. In addition to this, it has been landscaped with a local plants to restore the Foss Creek riverbed.
- An Eye Out Of The Hotel. Despite the cultural agenda that is taking place within the Harmont Guest House, they are present as supporters in many different events that are held in the local community.
WHY IT HAS FUTURE GROWTH POTENTIAL?
The Harmont Guest House may be a seed for the future of the hotels industry due to
- A Meaningful Reason. Whilst it has a standard hotel design, its altruist spirit allows it to give something in return for the society. This aligns with the current trend of the Gen Z and millennials who consider the purpose as a key variable behind their choices when it comes to spending a penny.
- An Excuse For Physical Gatherings Nearby. The fact that they hold participative art events and performances may attract both tourists/foreigners and locals. This combined with the layout of common areas makes a match when it comes to promoting both physical communication and interaction.
The reasons above would allow the hotel industry to align with nowadays values and may work as a reasoning behind new openings and current accommodations around the globe.

The common areas for socializing, as well as the activities proposed for groups, are very interesting. The bolded words are well used, and the text is well structured. If I could suggest something to improve, I would say maybe include another magnet term, like whether it has Instagrammable spots that are interesting to post and attract others or for example, if it has sustainable features.
I’m just saying this as something extra to comment on. Thanks for the blog!
