With TikTok Go, hospitality brands can turn social media engagement into measurable results, connecting with guests in a fresh, interactive way. I first heard about it from my sister, who spotted it on TikTok, and I immediately realized how clever it is for hospitality.

WHAT IT IS?

Launched in August 2025, TIKTOK GO is a cool way for hospitality brands to turn social media into bookings. Creators with at least 1000 followers can tag hotels, restaurants, or local experiences in their TikTok videos, and when viewers book or engage, the creators receive rewards such as commission payouts or vouchers. Thanks to a partnership with Booking.com, users cam even book stays directly through the app, turning discovery into real-world reservations. For hotels and restaurants, this means a fun, cost-efficient way to showcase rooms, dishes, and memorable experiences while reaching millions of potential guests. The program is currently live in the U.S., Japan, and Indonesia, with plans to expend further. TikTok Go makes it easy for creators to create authentic content on their experiences and turn creativity into tangible perks. At the same time, hotels, restaurants, and local businesses gain a simple, engaging way to collaborate with creators and reach new audiences, bridging the gap between social media storytelling and real-world bookings.

WHY IT´S COOL?

  • Drive Direct Bookings: Each tagged video can convert viewers into paying guests, creating a traceable return of investment from social media content.
  • Reach New Generations: TikTok’s primarily Gen Z and Millenial audience allows hotels and restaurants to connect with experience-driven travelers they might not reach through traditional marketing…the only thing they have to do is make sure people post about there stay. Collaborations or fun games that ensure social media interaction (like post about your first 5-minutes) might do the trick.
