WHAT IT IS?
In Rome in 2025, Secret Roma in collaboration with Fever, launched The Jury Experience. Once you sign up for one of the different evenings they organize, you become part of the jury in a fake murder trial. here are currently two different cases to choose from: one is a “death at the hands of AI” scenario involving a fatal accident with a self-driving car, and the other is a million-dollar murder case with secrets, luxury, and lies.
The evening starts with the host presenting the case. Subsequently, the prosecuting and defense attorneys will present their opening statements, call different witnesses to the stand, and finally, present their closing statements. The evening takes place in Teatro Ghione, which is transformed to resemble an American courtroom. The event lasts about 75 minutes, and anyone over age 12 can participate. Then, it’s up to you —you analyze all the evidence, listen to all statements, and deliver the verdict: guilty or not guilty.
