This is a workout wellness that was invented in south Africa by Nkululeko Dlamini in the early 2020. A group of South Africans started a weekend brunch where they enjoy all the afrobeat’s music with good healthy food. The video went viral on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok. They decided to make it a habit which encouraged other African countries like Kenya and Uganda to join. recently the king of squat was in Kenya to promote wellness and had the chance to teach all the participant the duck walk dance alongside the afrobeat’s music which is a vibe in Africa and all over the world.

- It teaches people that, a person is a person because of the other people (African proverb)
- It promotes Ubuntu and teaches people that there is no worry (Hakuna Matata) in us coming together for wellness.
WHY IT HAS FUTURE GROWTH POTENTIAL?
It started in South Africa two years ago but has now gone viral in Africa where they meet in big cities for brunch as they dance to the afrobeat’s. It also helps the people who can’t afford to go to the gym daily to be able to attend the weekend brunch which helps in winding off heavy schedules with the multicultural dance with the aim of togetherness. Just like afrobeat’s started and now it has been accepted worldwide, squat dance with the aim of keeping fit has gain a massive following. This will be included in the tourist activities where you dance for wellness which portraits importance of staying healthy while having fun.
During the meetings, key points of staying healthy, what you eat, when to eat and how to eat, are discussed and most of them are encouraged to believe in themselves for a better lifestyle. As we are aware that, young people are dying because of bad Harbit lifestyle. this groups have helped many to join during their afro regional visits dance to learn the new African moves which are vigorous and hard to master therefore they keep fit while practicing mastering the steps.
Majority of people who want to participate in and can’t afford to get tickets, they try to follow up on the dance moves by using Tik Tok app which are going viral and encouraging everyone to join.

I love how it combines Afrobeat music, healthy food and socializing. It’s great that it’s not just a fitness routine but also a way for people from different backgrounds to come together and enjoy themselves. This initiative has great potential to positively impact health and society in Africa and beyond!

It sounds like a different experience, but I’m a bit unclear on the specifics. I didn’t recognize the touchpoint
