WHAT IT IS?
Corral de Moreira is located in Madrid and was founded in 1956 by Manuel del Rey. The establishment combined the Spanish show dance with an exquisite Michelin-star restaurant. The chef, David Garcia, makes this show experience different by elaborating five different menus from which guests can choose and pair with an extensive wine list and cocktails. The menu can vary from three to five courses, including a gluten-free option. The culinary experience mainly includes the following: complimentary fresh warm bread and appetizers ranging from colorful salads, breathtaking carpaccios, soups that would create an explosion of flavors in your mouth, and crispy sautéed vegetables. Main courses would go from poultry and fish to a vegan option, and dessert will vary from chocolate to brandy-infused cakes and exquisite homemade ice cream.
Corral de Moreira is an experience as a whole; guests can only book dinner by booking a showtime. The establishment is more focused on the dining experience. Still, adding a memorable moment makes their product even more valuable. In this case, having a Michelin-starred meal while watching the best flamenco dancers in Madrid.
WHY IT´S COOL?
Convenience: Guests enjoy two unique experiences that are usually separated rather than combined. They eliminate the need to travel between venues.
Unique atmosphere: Their rustic and dark atmosphere makes it very cozy and enjoyable for all guests to have a memorable experience.
Culinary experience: You can indulge in a fantastic five course meal. All five menus are entirely different and can be paired with various wines.
Cultural experience: Watching a flamenco show immerses you in Spanish culture because with music and dance, it tells a beautiful story.
WHY IT HAS FUTURE GROWTH POTENTIAL?
Corral de Moreira has future growth potential because only a few dinner shows offer a Michelin-star experience. This establishment stands out from other dinner shows and Michelin restaurants because the public has seen it as a separate experience rather than together. It can grow into different cultures, which can present their national dance and provide a Michelin-star meal that speaks for itself about the culture and the chef. The establishment has grown since they merged the show with a culinary experience. They won their third sole Repsol, an award for culinary achievement and global experience offered by a restaurant. Many other establishments can create different variations of Michelin dinners and shows but with the same concept: enjoying a delightful dinner, having fantastic music in the background, and showcasing a culture.
