WHAT IT IS?
What was once a Boeing 727 yet plane is now being used as a an amazing accommodation site deepen into the Costa Rican jungle with amazing ocean views and a cozy but luxurious room.
The airframe was recovered from a quiet resting place at San José’s airfield. The portions were disassembled and transported to Hotel Costa Verde in the jungle. Once here, the fuselage was reassembled into its current set on a platform about 50 feet above the jungle floor, giving passengers the impression of floating above the treetops.

Where Are We Stranded Now?
Yeah, in the middle of the Jungle, but perfect for a wildlife integrated and interactive site, where nature will be surrounding us. Here, location is everything. The fuselage suite is in the Costa Verde II section of the resort, along the edge of Manuel Antonio National Park. At 50 feet, passengers are submerged in the treetops, as if they were flying over the jungle canopy. The suite offers panoramic views of both the jungle and the Pacific beach.

WHY IT´S COOL?
- The suite stands out not only for its originality, but also for its ambition.
- Preserving the memory of the aircraft.
- Built spaces and untamed spaces can coexist in harmony.
- Guests are not just visitors; they become part of the living environment around them.
WHY IT HAS FUTURE GROWTH POTENTIAL?
This location not only represents a place to stay in, but its also a place representing history. We can also feel a sense of repurposing behind the whole concept. They showed us that we can turn a thing that don’t have a use for us anymore, into a beautiful and useful place to share and coexist.
