Set to open its doors in <strong>2027<\/strong>, the hotel will offer <strong>155 rooms across different categories<\/strong>, designed as an integral extension of one of Germany\u2019s most progressive urban communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its core, Villa Viva is built around a <strong>social profit model<\/strong>. The project is led by <strong>Viva con Agua<\/strong>, the all-profit organization dedicated to global access to clean drinking water, in collaboration with the <strong>Holzmarkt 25 cooperative<\/strong>, a landmark example of community-led urban development in Berlin. Once operational, <strong>60 percent of the hotel\u2019s profits will directly fund Viva con Agua\u2019s water projects worldwide<\/strong>, turning every overnight stay into a tangible act of impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Architecturally, Villa Viva reflects its values. The building is designed as a stack of <strong>wooden box-like structures<\/strong>, many with private balconies overlooking the River Spree. Wood dominates both the fa\u00e7ade and interior, while any concrete used prioritizes <strong>recycled and low-impact materials<\/strong>. Even the furniture follows this logic, relying largely on <strong>second-hand and reused pieces<\/strong>, reinforcing the idea that sustainability can be aesthetic, warm, and intentional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hotel will sit within the wider Holzmarkt ecosystem, a vibrant mix of <strong>co-working spaces, cultural venues, galleries, a kindergarten, music studios, caf\u00e9s, and public gathering spots<\/strong>.
