Nuclear sky hotel is coming ?!

What is it?

A concept for an enormous, nuclear airplane hotel took the internet by storm 5 month ago. Incredibly, the product designer attracted over 30m followers sights and its’ video was viewed 9.3 million times on Facebook.

Sky Cruise picks up the legacy of science fictions, promising to carry 5,000 people for years at a time while running on nuclear fusion energy.

Why it is cool?

1.Castle in the sky

The Sky Cruise can contain 5,000 passengers and has luxury hotels, real Air-view swimming pools, shopping mall, stunning 360-degree view from a giant hull. Basically, you can enjoy any style of entertainments you can imagine, and even have health center for emergency situation. It’s much more like 7* Luxury Cruise Ship in the air.

2. Green Power, unlimited cruising.

Nuclear fusion has become a touchstone for handwaving impossible technologies.This Skytanic equipped 20 nuclear-powered engines—No Carbon emission, more sustainable energy. So there is possible to repair the aircraft during the roaming.

3. Unique experience.

Imagine that when you standing on the viewing platform, you can bird view the landscape/ocean and you are much nearer to the star in the universe. So ,when you grab coffee beside the aircraft window or you count the number of stars laying on the bed, it’s a fantastic feeling and unforgettable.

In addition, many experts have amount of questions and believe it is even impossible to take off with its massive weight(maybe more than 25,000 tons). Moreover, how to maintain the normal operation with clean water / waste dealing/ F&B supply chain in a cost-efficient way in the aircraft? Despite of these doubts, the fans of science fiction still will to believe it will come true one day.

The main point of the concept’s potential is broaden our horizon. We can celebrate in the aircraft, held wedding events and never miss any critical conferences. Furthermore, the high-end clients can even do the Sky-Health Care tourism (for example, hair planting, tooth planting, cosmetic surgery,etc ).

It’s no doubt that it’s a new option and trendy style for future life if the Sky Cruise will be reality manufactured.

  3. A cool seed that is ahead of its time. I think it’s a very nice idea and I would love to visit this sky hotel if it existed. However, did the designer work out an exact plan on how this hotel would stay in the air for years, and how it would be sustainable with all the transportation that would have to be done (visitors, nutrition etc.)? When I read this blog I immediately had to think about billionaires that fly to space for vacation or celebrities that take a private jet to travel 100 kilometres. If this hotel was I thing, I would see it as a place where the rich would go when they don’t know what to spend their money on anymore. And that kind of took me off… Does this have the potential to appeal to a wider range of people than I assume? I am afraid that if this hotel existed it would cause humanity more harm than benefits.

    I think this seed is really cool as this is an over the top way of luxe. It reminds me of the near-space shuttle that will be booked by rich people. I am however wondering if it is necessary, this ship. What can this powerful energy supply be used for besides hosting wealthy people’s holidays? Perhaps this plane can bring us the future. What do you think?
