WHAT IT IS?

Have you ever thought of sliding behind the counter and helping yourself to the bar? ‘Novanta 90’ gives you the chance to do so and become your own bartender. This Italian hotel is nestled up in the Tuscan hills, in the abandoned Gello Valley. For the last eight years, a team of young Dutch entrepreneurs, passionate and visionary, has been building the village back to its initial glory. The hotel now has eighteen fully-catered rooms and two glamping spots. It offers a full Tuscan experience in three hundred hectares wild valley.

WHY IT´S COOL?

Upon your arrival in the hotel, you will be introduced to the ‘Honesty Bar’. Some drinks, like beers, wines and cokes, are easy to grab, but others will require some skills. All the ingredients are there for some delicious cocktails: gin and tonic, all kinds of Spritzes, Old Fashioned, Espresso Martinis… Your skills are the limit. So don’t be shy and jump behind the bar. In case your cocktail crafting knowledge is limited, you are invited to a cocktail workshop the next day. Any doubt about which wine to choose? Join the wine tasting and discover them all!

At this bar, without a bartender, trust and honesty reign. You are simply trusted to note down all the drinks you consume and pay for it at the end of your stay.
