What is it?

Hats, Boots & Bourbon is where you can get clothes and enjoy a drink at the same time!

The founder, Erik, with over ten years of experience as a bartender wanted to bring a piece of Brooklyn to his hometown Copenhagen. Where he developed into a full-function bar with Bourbon, beers, or cocktails.

The clothes are mixed between some famous brands like Borsalino and Stetson but also focused on giving small Scandinavian brands a chance to get deserved exposure.

Why is it cool?

• Visual Appeal: After seeing the eye-catching window filled with hats, jackets, and everything in between as a modern fashion-conscious man you enter the store. The first thing you will see: is a big, fully equipped bar.

• Relaxed Atmosphere: The idea is to relieve the pressure some people can feel walking in a clothing store and the staff is close to you when you want to stroll around unbothered.

• Special for Every Guy: At Hats, Boots & Bourbon you can come in for just coffee before work or a cocktail with your friends before a day in the city.

• Pressure-Free Shopping: Some people get in just to see how it looks, end up buying a cocktail and can walk around the store zipping the drink and watching the clothes without pressure.

• Guaranteed Experience: Whether you leave with or without any piece of clothes, the staff guarantees you will have a good time which shows in the many returning customers they have gained since opening five years ago.

Why does it have future growth potential?

Internet and people’s lack of time can hurt small brick-and-mortar stores quite hard. To thrive, diversification is key – to stand out, you must avoid conformity. While other bars serve gin and vodka, Hats, Boots & Bourbon specializes in Bourbon. In a market where many retailers cater to both women’s and men’s clothing, this establishment focuses solely on men’s apparel. Interestingly, despite this focus, the majority of their clientele are women purchasing clothes for loved ones.

In Northern countries, where people tend to be reserved and less talkative, A bar in the middle of the shop offers a good opportunity to initiate conversations and create a relaxed atmosphere. When shyness is no longer an issue, it is also easier to inquire about the products and people tend to buy more when you are in a good mood.
